Adventures in CLEANING

Now if this doesn't guarantee my entry into heaven, i don't know what will.

Seriously.

(and yes. i know what you're thinking. Something's missing from her face... oh yes. GLASSES. My contacts made an appearance. They are seldom and far between but.. yeah.)

Monday, i had the day off. Funny thing though, i didnt know it and went into work. Ha. So i decided to go spend some time at my grandma's house. You may remember a previous post with some pictures of my grandma's house. Yeah... It's kinda just been GROWING for the past three months. The lawyers advised us NOT to clean, because if we accidently threw something away that belonged to my cousin or aunt, we could be in trouble.

WTF?

Whatever. So, i mean, what could we do? So, we've kinda just let it sit. (and GROW...) But, i decided the other day, if we just spent and hour here and there, on our days off, we could get it cleaned up quick. This bathroom here was day TWO for me, and BOY, OH BOY was it a task! (okay... it wasn't really "hard" per se, but it was DISGUSTING, as you can see.)

This may look like just a bunch of dirt, but really, it's MYSTERY disgustingness. The bathtub was actually full of water and it was all merky and repulsive. (the toilet is fairly similarly GROTESQUE) OBVIOUSLY, we didn't want to drain it because, really, who would want to put their hand in that disgusting water to pull the plug?

And because this merky water had been sitting for serveral MONTHS, the mystery merkiness, settled. (and smelled, very similar to a PERM)

But now it was time, to i reach in, and, GASP! PULL, THE PLUG. (i know. i know. DIS-GUST-ING. But i had to do it. This should show you just how much i love my grandma.)

I then squirted ALOT of lime-away and let it sit for a few DAYS, while i cleaned the kitchen. (Day ONE) When i went back to clean it, it came off pretty easy. (thankfully) i continued and pretty much just sprayed bleach on EVERYTHING. I'm glad i had Jacks Mannequin with me to help block it out.
