I went to Sammy's tonight. It's a hip little burger joint just off Center Street in Provo. The atmosphere is super fun and the food is actually really good. We went tonight because my roommate's brother was playing a gig. He's actually really good. It was fun to be standing in a parking garage while watching him sing and play his guitar. (It was the best view in the house.) I loved the whole scene; grafitti on old brick buildings, faded advertisements, telephone wires crossing everywhere, and even a dumpster. Normally, one wouldn't take a second look at these things, but tonight, it really added to the whole atmosphere. I loved it!
The next guy that played was really good also. His name was John Allred. You can look him up on YouTube. (song, "the melody") But as not to be traitorous, you'll have to do that on your own time. This post, is dedicated to the awesomeness of Chris Crabb.

(after letting the computer try to upload this video for over THIRTY-SIX HOURS, i gave up. --you ask why i would wait such a ridiciously LONG amount of time... well, i naively kept thinking, what if i stop and it's ALMOST done!?! but after doing that so many times and having it STILL not be done... i give up.-- it's only a five minute video..? i dont know how to shrink the size quality either.) Looks like you'll all just have to come see chris LIVE sometime. It's worth it!
