Grove Creek Canyon

Me, Amy, Steve, Lincoln

I decided that i really like to hike. You get a work out while being with friends. AND it's always super beautiful. What more can you ask for? (Can life get any better? i submit that it CANNOT. :)

Steve (the one in the green) is an avid hiker. So every week i try to convince him to let me go hiking with him. I think he's going to be a prophet some day because he often goes hiking alone to search, ponder and pray. He's the most christ-like person i know. I'm glad he's my friend.

ANYWAY, we had planned to go to Grove Creek (which is a little north of the "G" on Timpanogos Mountain) but it was getting really windy and looked like it would probably rain. Steve thought everyone would bail because of it but we decided to go anyway and boy were we glad we did!

The hike it intermediate level, but was hard to me because i had JUST finished a 2 hour bike ride up the canyon from our apartment in provo... so i was already DEAD when we started. But it was the MOST BEAUTIFUL HIKE ever! All this time i've lived here in Utah and i didn't even know this hike existed! You can see the valley most of the hike up, with the mountains coming around on the side. It was IN-CREDIBLE.

It was a little scary because the trail gets pretty narrow at parts and i'm SUPER scared of heights... But i made it in one piece. :) At the end there were some BEAUTIFUL waterfalls. It was really fun.

People! You NEED to go on this hike!
