Several years ago, i dated this guy. It started out great (it always does) but then, a little while into the relationship, the sugar coating came off and TURNS OUT, he was a real (insert swearword here).BUT... it wasn't a COMPLETE waste of six months of my life. He DID teach me a very effective way to take off wall paper.
It came in handy today.

Working on my grandma's has been a good experience. I try to go only an hour or two at a time, to not get too overwhelmed or burnt out. but, i've actually liked it. i love feeling like i'm accomplishing something. and i've found that i love fixing things up. like, i think i would really like to be on of those people who buy houses, fix them up, and sell them. too bad you have to have money to BUY the houses first...
crap.

YOU ARE AMAZING!
If I ever 1) own a house and 2) need to fix it up, I will 3) call you to come help me, if you would like to play :)
while i rarely do it, i do enjoy walking in to home depot and looking at all the home improvement options- it's pretty cool stuff.
